Here is what's happening at the market this Sunday 8/21 (10am - 3pm).

Norwich Meadows Farm has Malabar spinach (photo), renowned for its subtle peppery flavor with citrus notes and a firmer texture more similar to chard which holds up better in soups and stir-fries. The leaves are juicy and tender when raw, but once cooked, looks and tastes like regular spinach.

Food is Med Farms has an iced-to-serve 'Zobo' Tea. Refreshing, delicious and healthy, this market favorite is made with hibiscus, rooibos, and lemongrass. Stop by for a cold drink or pick up the mix to make at home.

Spice Beast introduces their newest hot sauce, Fuego de Piña (Pineapple Fire) - made with fresh pineapples and habeñero peppers. Sweet, tart, spicy, and delicious, we can attest that this sauce lives up to its name!

Sofia's Feast will have will Rosemary Semolina Crackers and Sicilian Eggplant Caponata. In addition to this vegan snack, they will have a ready-to-eat lasagna with sweet corn, summer squash & herbs!

Customers receive a raffle ticket for every $25 spent and the winners receive a free box of organic produce at the next market.
